- DO NOT EXPOSE UVC LIGHT TO EYES OR SKIN.
- WEAR PROTECTIVE GLASSES DURING USE.
- KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
- DO NOT EXPOSE UVC LIGHT ON PEOPLE OR ANIMALS.
- Unplug charger when not in use. charging.
- Never use in a wet environment or expose to water.
- Never use cleaning solutions, water, or harsh towels to clean device.
- As a safety feature, the device will automatically shut off when turned upward 90° or closed.
- If bulb breaks, do not touch glass filaments or mercury from the bulb.
- The UVC bulb is coated with a safety film that helps prevent bulb shattering & secure the broken pieces if the bulb should break.
- Do not remove battery cover or come in contact with the Lithium Ion battery.
- The device does not result in increased concentrations of ozone.
- Do not allow the device to be stored without charging battery for more than 2 months. Store in cool, dry place.
INSTRUCTIONS:
For general home use the Wand-it and Mini Wand-it will be effective at an exposure interval of 20- to 30 seconds. A 30 second exposure will provide a bacterial kill rate similar to popular name brand wipes but without the exposure to chemicals. Increasing the exposure time to the target surface area will increase the effectiveness for certain bacteria and fungi.
Slowly scan the Wand-it 1 to 3 inches away from the targeted surface area you wish to disinfect. Many of the pathogens will be destroyed in just a few seconds. The Mini will beep at 30 second intervals which will be sufficient for most of your daily needs.
